Detroit Rock City…

Today we are proud to thank Be-mag for sponsoring our tour!  Check out all the kids who talk shit on us HERE.

“Hey Don, what are you up to?” -AJ

“Not much, drinking a beer.” -Don

“You gonna be awake at 3am?” -AJ

“Probably, why?” -Don

“Because we are coming to your house!” -AJ

“FUCK YEAH.” -Don

That might not be how it went, but what did happen was a drunk party van pulled up at Don’s house at 3:30 am and was out shredding the broken down town around 2pm the next day.  Usually when rollerbladers show up in Detroit it is covered in 1 foot of fresh snow with temperatures in the mid teens.  I do believe this is the first time I’ve seen the sun shine in Detroit.  A landscape littered with broken down cars, abandoned buildings, and burned down homes Detroit paints the picture that has captivated us the past few years…. it’s urban.  All too often in the past you could take the crew to some obscure apartment complex and session a down rail.  Now we spend countless hours combing ghettos and abandoned parts of cities in search of obstacles that are not only challenging, but aesthetically pleasing.  Detroit blessed us, and so did Don and Melissa.  The time has come to push on to New Jersey and keep stacking clips, so we’re out of here!
